Rosso Design is a studio that specialises in residential and commercial building design from concept to completion of new homes, alterations, additions, renovations and refurbishment. The studio design service includes concept design, architectural drawings and specifications, development applications, construction certificates, contract administration, project management and construction management.

We create space that is a pleasure to come home to or work in. The living and work environment has a big impact on our lives. Design is the most important stage. Everything else follows. We produce practical, economical, exciting designs which are contemporary and maximise property value. Spaces are orientated to take advantage of views and sunlight. The architectural space requires height in order to create a sense of drama and excitement in a living or work environment, and we complement it with passive solar design principles.

Ross Brown, Director and Owner, has over 30 years of construction and design experience with the following qualifications: Bachelor of Architecture (NSWIT), Building Certificate (Sydney Technical College), Carpentry & Joinery Trade Certificate (West Sydney Technical College).

Ross initially trained as a builder with AW Edwards Pty Ltd and then as an architect with Kann Finch & Partners whilst studying Architecture. On graduating, Ross started working with Ervin Mahrer & Partners Architects. He worked as a partner for over 20 years with Ervin Mahrer on Design, Documentation, Contract Administration, Project Management, Construction Management and Property Development.

Ross is experienced in working with Builders and Developers, Homeowners and Owner Builders, Body Corporates, Consulting Engineers, Town Planners, Land Surveyors, Quantity Surveyors, Contractors, Site Managers, Foreman, Tradesmen, Material Suppliers, Lawyers, Financiers and Local Councils.
